“When darkness falls, you find the light.”

Under this maxim, the Melodic Death Thrashers from Siegen lead their audience into a world full of fear, sorrow, despair, and anger, but one that always allows the light to be recognized in the real darkness through a considerable amount of compassion and hope.

Wrapped in an original sound framework of bittersweet melodies and technically brutal riffing, singer Jess screams, growls, and sobs her entire soul’s pain in such an emotional way that the band’s lyrical concept quickly builds up with visual impact in front of the attentive listener.

Since their reformation in 2018, with numerous gigs including renowned festivals like No Playback, Rock am Stück, and Helmfest, as well as support slots for scene giants like Disbelief, Deserted Fear, Heathen, Endseeker, Milking the Goatmachine, Crystal Viper, and many others, the band generates an intense, unrestrained live power aura that not only leaves fans and audiences thrilled but also manages to win over organizers and the music press.

Quotes like:

“This band belongs to the big stages of the world” (Time of Metal),

“Act of Creation definitely don’t need to hide from the giants of the scene; on the contrary, they are even more versatile in melody and vocals” (Badische Zeitung),”Act of Creation knows how to excite the audience, a great band” (metal-hammer.de),

“Moshpits & Wall of Death in the excited audience, a strong band that is definitely on the rise” (metal.de),

affirm the band in their motto of always giving everything, truly everything.

Due to the significant success of their latest album, “The Uncertain Light,” which consistently received top ratings (8.5/10 Rock Hard, 9/10 Time for Metal, 8.9/10 Zephyrs Odem, 10/10 Metal Zone, and more), the quintet caught the attention of notable labels, and proudly chose “Massacre Records” as their favorite for further collaboration.

Under this banner, their new album is set to be released in mid-2024. As usual, it will be tied to a comprehensive lyrical concept and represent a consistent evolution of their musical path. With producer Dennis Koehne (Mix & Master), Dirk Meyer-Berhorn (Drums/Orden Ogan), and Timon Kokott (Cover Illustration), the band has once again assembled a competent team to appropriately translate the emotions and experiences accumulated since their last output.

The band eagerly craves for the release of their fifth album, the upcoming fantastic events in the next year, and especially the subsequent nationwide album release tour.
